Ethical Dilemas

The first dilema that I am going to talk about is about a girl named Mary that recieves notes in her locker from very mean people. They say in the notes, things like, “You’re a bitch,” to her, and Mary doesn’t know who they are…she tells some of her friends about the situation, but they don’t really give her good advice on it, so I think that she should just tell a teacher or deal with it herself…not physically, but through non violent actions,such as not going to dances with high school boys, because she thinks that that is the cause… I think that it would be the best way to resolve the conflict between Mary and the mean girls that are sending her notes……

The is another story of dilema that I am going to talk to you about, which is when a girl named Maria has to deal with her friend that is very skinny that has parents that don’t really care about her weight loss…..Maria doesn’t know what to do with her friend named Pam….but I think that she should tell her and make listen straight up that she should stop her anorexic problems…..even though it might cause their relationship to take a big downfall…OR i think that Maria should just ignore her anorexic “friend,” who is being a burden to maria…..that way, they could end their relationship, and it would be easier for Maria watch her friend ruin her body and life….even though…   That’s it for now….bai~!bai~!

Leadership….

I think that a quality that is needed to be a leader to be or act like a leader is….well…leadership!! I guess I am kind of a leader of the 7th grade, and with leadership, comes responsibility, which I am trying to practice….

An example of a leader that I look up to is God’s son, Jesus..because he healed many people of their sickenesses, AND he made a very good impact on the future Christians…which are..US~!  He also sacrificed many things, one being his life, being crucified…..

I think that being a leader of something/ some place means that you will probably make good changes and many achievements…..one thing that i had about for an idea for fundraising for our grade, was a Halloween game day for the lower school students..(little kids) , but the preparation, I think will be harder, because we still haven’t decided on who will bring what TOTALLY…but some people have already signed up..of course…anyways, leadership means that the leader will make good changes in the place she/he leads…..

Today..

Today, before class began, some people were picking on other fellow classmates, I think that they were throwing around someone’s bag..being a bully in another way..

I wasn’t there to see this actually happen, but in the teacher’s talk, he explained briefly what happened, and I think that it was very wrong of them to do that.

……..In his talk with us, he also told us about this High School students that killed 12 people for fun…and that really shocked me, because he was saying…”It all starts with little things like this.”

I just hope that this kind of thing will never again happen in our grade, and that we can learn from this experience.

Animusic

Today and on Friday, we (computer class) watched something called animusic, which is music that is played by animated charcters made by animators. We watched……8…….video animations, and 2 of my favorite video animations are Pipe Dreams and Resonant Chamber, which are video animations……of course

I know that a lot of effort and money was into this DVD that our compl. teacher showed us..but I don’t know exactly how it took to mske this DVD.

All I know, is that they made money….Bye Bye for now~!~! ~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!

My Personality Test Results~~~~~~!!!!

From the personality test that I/we took…I learned a lot about myself….one thing is that I am open minded to new things, and also that I am very out-going….

I guess this test is/was really true…I think…. I hope it is…..Anyway, I learned a lot about my personality today…

Should Students Be Allowed To Bring Cell Phones To School~?

Yes, I do think that we should be allowed to bring cell phones to school, because students might have emergencies during school, such as forgetting PE clothes, homework, and money, even though we should not forget to do al those things and because it is our responsibility….but still, I think that people should be able to bring their phones to school.

Another reason is…since there’s no way to call anyone if you don’t have quarters, and especially in our tight middle school schedhule, you can’t call your mom or dad, so they might have to make an extra stop to school because they thought that they could, or were supposed to pick you up @ the normal pick up time!!!

For example..(true recent story): This person in our school forgot to bring their wallet, so he/she couldn’t eat lunch..if no one let them borrow money…..

Disadvantages: 1. could get stolen

2. might ring during class

3……that’s about it….haha…

Conclusion???: ok…what I think overall is that us students should be able to bring cell phones to school…because if we’re allowed to bring palms to school that we don’t need for class..why bring them???..(unless they work as a phone too..)
Cell phones can be very useful to us because we only have a few…or 1 pay phone here @ school, so might as well use your cell phone which is efficient and easy to use…(portable)…and also….it fits in our very tight middle school schedhules.

My Life Today~!

Today, we had a nomal day…45 minute-long classes, group projects, and lots of assigned homework~!…I guess I just had a 7th grader’s St. John’s School typical student’s day..(wow..that’s a long sentence. Anyways, today, othing really speciall happened…except the part where our class had to run a little over 20 laps!!! Talk about a workout!..(hehe..)      Oh yeah.. I forgot to mention that soon I will be going to volley ball practice ’till 5:30, which only gives me like so little time to do homework…grrr…just joking..

Free/Final Entry…(oh yeah~)

Ok….so right now…..this post that you are reading is probably going to be the final post that I am going to be writing….OMG!!! Can’t believe it’s already over!!…I’ll still probably write outside of school, though! So…..come back any time, and I’ll try to update. Anyway, Mr. Maiquez totally handed the blog to us…he said it’s actually MY blog now!!!yay!!!….ok…now I am going to show you A SNEAK PEAK of my favoritish Korean stars that I wasn’t supposed to write about last time during free write. Final Entries….

So….I am going to be talking about how I feel or felt about this whole blogging experience this quarter….so tips that I have to pass on to the new 6th graders that are going to be taking on blogging, is….have fun with the posts, and put pictures in your posts!!!……but remember to finish writing first…LOL (laugh out loud)….so…..one thing that I regret doing with the posts, …..is…..nothing????…I guess I regret not commenting teachers and outside bloggers.

#25B-Blogging

I think that I learned a lot from blogging….at least ABOUT blogging…!!!I don’t really know how blogging is going to help us outside of shool, but I know that it is very helpful inside of school. It helps us inside of school because it helps friends and classmates to know you better, and you can think about other people’s opinions on he subject that was probably assigned for us to talk or type about. No, I have not broken any blogging rules, but the rules are hard to break actually. One thing that I don’t like about blogging, though, is that we don’t get to choose the things that we talk about, and 2nd, we don’t like get to type the way that we want to….like……nO way!!!! Yur sO awsOme~??!!…..but I know that we are not supposed to type like that because we might get so used to it that we might…..forget how to spell correctly???….anyways, I actually have learned a lot of things about my classmates by blogging, so in the future, I might actually start my own blog….just for fun….well at least I think it will be fun!!! If you never tried blogging, or anything like that, you should try it out!!! It’s pretty cool~…so, that’s it for now, so bye bye!!!..
